Tbilisi Photo Festival 2013

Photography Festival
May 28th – June 4th, 2013
Tbilisi, Georgia

For its fourth edition, the Tbilisi Photo Festival (TPF) explores the fringes of:
Geography… the TPF is devoting a large exhibition to the North Caucasus, the untameable “march” of Russia, in full transformation with the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games approaching.
The temporal… with Guram Tsibakhashvili’s chronicle of the years 1986-2000 in Georgia at the doorstep of independence.

The human…. with Vortex by Antoine D’Agata who plunges us into the night, prostitution, alternative experiences, and with Transgression I and II,  disrupting genres (such as work by Pep Bonet, on the transsexuals in Brazil, and by Justyna Mielnikiewicz, on the Femen movement).
