Within Tbilisi Photo Festival 2025, the Festival and Tbilisi Photography & Multimedia Museum are thrilled to invite you to the event "Against the Dying of the Light". 

The 8-screen video installation presents 23 protests documented by 40 Magnum photographers across different continents and decades - from the aftermath of World War II to the present day. It features powerful moments from landmark events such as the March on Washington, the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Tiananmen Square protests, and the Cuban Revolution, among others. The installation also includes images from protests in Tbilisi, captured by Magnum photographers from the 1990s to today.

Together, these photographs trace the evolution of protest as a global language of resistance.
